Is it weird to not like having friends?

I dont have many friends. I dont want many friends. I used to hang out with a very large group of people. There was a lot of back biting and he said, she said stuff going on. I now am best friends with a stuffed dog and an elephant. They mind thier own business, only say what I want them to, and when I talk to them, they have a dumb smile on their face, and they just listen to what I have to say. Of course, I have some friends, and those around me have tons who consider themselves my friends as well. I will do whatever I can for anyone who needs help, but I just dont want to always talk on the phone, and I dont really need anyone to shop with and stuff like that. Some people are just more solitary people. That doesnt make you wierd, it makes you independent.
