Ok, my cat likes doughnuts, waffles, pancakes and french toast.??

Whoever told you cats can 't taste sweet were misinformed. That's why there are so many emergencies regarding antifreeze (tastes sweet). Cats, like humans, can contract many of the same diseases. I'm guessing a bite of something (that seems to do it!) will satisfy your cat just as it has mine over the years.......without developing diabetes or anything else. Just be sure to hold back on the chocolate, it's poisonous to cats & dogs. Thanks!
