What kind of credit card should I get?

I'm kind of new at this stuff because I have not really needed a credit card. There are tons of companies and I am not sure who to go with. I just basically want a credit card with a good reputable company and I always want to pay my bill off before it's due to not have any interest. Who would you recommend? I don't even know any of the credit card lingo..apr? no annual fee? Need some help...all advice welcome. Thanks
